Bella Musica Lesson Studio and Music Store has continued to grow since opening in 2012. Founded by Miamisburg resident and professional vocalist Sarah Bucher, the studio now boasts over 150 students, 18 music teachers, and 3 store employees. They added two new music lesson rooms in January to accommodate more students and future growth. The six lesson rooms they now have include pianos, a drum set, keyboard lab, and group lesson space.

Located just west of the Dayton Mall, Bella Musica offers private and group music lessons on a wide variety of instruments including piano, voice, guitar, and many others. The studio also offers the ‘Music for Young Children’ program that uses a fun, interactive environment to teach kids the fundamentals of music and starts as young as age 2. The variety of teachers, instruments, and number of rooms gives parents the ability to schedule lessons for multiple children simultaneously (a multi-family discount is also offered).

Bella Musica also encourages students to participate in the many performance opportunities offered each year such as master classes, student recitals, and competitions. Last year, the studio formed a partnership with the Baum Opera House, and now holds all of the formal recitals in the facility’s Randsell Ballroom. Most recently, 16 students participated in the Ohio Federation of Music Clubs Festival Competition with all receiving unanimous superior or superior ratings.

“While our focus has always been on providing quality music lessons”, says owner Sarah Bucher, “our music store has grown to meet the needs of our students.” The retail space carries a wide variety of sheet music, methods books, lesson materials, and music instrument accessories. Students can also purchase or rent violins, guitars, and most common school band instruments.

Bella Musica is located at 2240 E. Central Ave, Suite 4. More information about the studio can be found at or call the studio 937-865-6539.
