Introducing: In-Home Music Lessons

Home/Music Blog/Introducing: In-Home Music Lessons

Bella Musica offers music lessons in the student’s home!  Music lessons are not one-size-fits-all.  Some students thrive and have more success in an environment other than their home, while others are the complete opposite.  Students who prefer lessons in their own home may find the studio environment too distracting or over-whelming.  There are several perks to in-home lessons:

  • Convenience – for students and families whose schedules are jam-packed with activities, where transportation and time can be determining factors to taking lessons at all – this could be the best solution
  • Comfort – While our studio is a fun, intimate setting, some students still may feel more comfortable in a familiar environment.  They may be less distracted in their own space and may feel more comfortable to try new things and take more risks.  (Every student is different – so the opposite may be true as well.  Students may feel they can take more risks away from parents and siblings.)
  • Consistency – Students who have in-home lessons may be able to continue lessons on a more consistent basis.  When changing seasons dictate other activities (sports, marching band, etc.), sometimes students feel they have to quit one thing (usually music lessons) to accommodate the other.  This way, they just might be able to continue to do both.

Students who take music lesson in their home with a Bella Musica teacher are still part of the Bella Musica family and enjoy the same benefits that students who come to the studio do.  They are still invited to be in our studio recitals and contest opportunities.  In-home students can also pay online and check their attendance/payment history, too.  In-home students may have to take a bit more initiative to check our website and Facebook page for pop-up master classes, group opportunities, etc., as they won’t be coming to the studio every week to see these announcements.

In-home music lessons are available for every instrumental family from the majority of our teachers.  There is a small price premium for this convenience.  Check out our pricing page for details.  Give us a call if you need to explore this option.
