The Bella Musica Kid’s Ukulele Class has a blast! I love being at the studio on Saturday mornings and listening to the kids learn new notes – that lead to new chords – that lead to new songs – and by the end of the class they are singing and playing their new songs! This class is taught by an enthusiastic instructor, Lee Ann Kinner, who incorporates puppets (like the Old Woman who Swallowed a Fly) and movements (for songs like London Bridge) to help facilitate learning. Parents are encouraged to participate in the class with their student, so that they can help reinforce new concepts at home. Class sessions are only 6 weeks long (enough time to be able to learn simple songs, but not too long where scheduling can become tricky). If you want your child to have a fun musical experience, sign them up for our next Ukulele for Kids Class that starts July 12! For more details, visit our Ukulele for Kids page.
