Bella Musica was named Best of Dayton for Music Instruction by Dayton Magazine again this year (2017 – 2018)! Even though there have been lots of changes in the studio, one thing remains constant – a commitment to providing high quality music education. Leading students in their pursuit of musical excellence is still the number one focus. Even though the studio has scaled back the instrumental offerings to just piano and voice, the fundamentals of music education remain the same. Bella Musica owner and teacher, Sarah Bucher, believes in a well-rounded approach to curriculum and lesson structure. The goal of each lesson is to move the student closer to musical independence and comprehension. Lessons are tailored to each student and move at a pace appropriate for his or her interest and aptitude. While progress is directly related to the student’s level of engagement and amount of at-home practice, students are given every opportunity to succeed. This student-first directive is one of the many reasons Bella Musica was recognized as the Best of Dayton. Looking forward to creating beautiful music with more students as we cultivate their life-long interest in music through education. Thank you Dayton!
